In the very Beginning...

Before I commence my first post in this blog, I'd like to quote J_Verschueren (pokerclub.be member), who said the following after the 4th PCB December Challenge tourny (which yours truly won, of course):

Except the fact that I'm gifted with overwhelming looks, there is little that some of you might know about me and my poker playing. Thus be pleased by the fact that a curriculum will follow in this first post!

What do you play?
- $10 & $20 shorthanded (max 6 players) Sit 'n' Go's
- Multi Table Tournaments (MTT's): $5, $10 & $20 buy-in + occasionally freerolls

Poker resolutions for 2007?
* Try to resume to play with the same consistency as the last couple of months
* Specialize myself in full table SnG's
* Equal or improve the 4 tournament wins of last year
* Play a medium/big national or international tournament

Well?
* Because of school I only started the year in February: first MTT result of the year was 18th place in a 400+ player field. Consistency is bliss...
* Don't like full table SnG's, played 3 of them though in the last 2 weeks: 1 x 3th, 2 x 2nd.
* No big tournament win yet...
* I'm playing in the € 65 buy-in Flemish Poker Challenge Qualifier on April 1st @ Casino Kursaal Oostende. Top x players get a seat in the Final Tournament (€ 500 buy-in & + € 10 000 for the winner)

Just like the blog title: 62 offsuit (cracked AA with them once, my lucky cards since then)

Bankroll:
Four digits, that's all I have to say

Bad Beat story:
Losing 3 times on the same day in 3 different tournaments (2 homegames & 1 online) with QQ vs a Straight on the turn, made with crappy hole cards (75o, T9o & K7o)

Best moment in poker:
Final table at Poker 4 Charity: it's a fantastic feeling to play at the final table of your first live tournament in front of a decent crowd.
